The course begins with a three-hour meeting on Sunday, November 11, 2-5 pm in Morrill Hall, room 1101. Much useful information about both travel and academics will be given. This is our only meeting before departure, so attendance is very important.

This year, in order to match our schedule with the days of the week -- and what is available when -- we have to leave before New Year's. It is unfortunate to miss New Year's eve with old friends, but spending it with new friends in a new country is also be nice. Italian New Year's festivities also have to be experienced to be believed. This departure date also helps us get low-cost airplane tickets.

Besides the main activities shown below, we have presentation of student projects, talks by faculty, Italian lessons, meals together, special events, and stories.
