Teaching interests: Introduction to American Government, Political Behavior and Public Opinion, Campaigns and Elections, Institutions (The Presidency, Congress), Political Parties and Interest Groups, State and Local Politics, Religion and Politics, Introduction to Public Policy, Introduction to Research Methods. I also have designed an upper-level course on inequality in which students watch the HBO series "The Wire" and conduct policy analysis.

Other interests: My dog, Dizzy, and Yankees baseball.
