Welcome to the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences alumni website. We are all excited about what's happening on campus and the growth of our alumni board!

We held our 2nd annual Mentor Program kick-off event on October 13th . This year we attracted more than 300 participants -- a 50% increase! During the 2003-04 academic year, we held the chapter's first-ever mentoring program, attracting more than 200 participants. Mentor and student feedback declared the program an overwhelming success. Mentors shared their insights and experiences with students, helping them to define and develop their own career aspirations. We urge all of you to consider getting involved. This is a great way to give back to the university, as well as a way to get involved with current students. More information can be found by clicking the “Mentor Program” link to the right.

New, this year the BSOS Alumni Board has created the “Future BSOS Alumni Scholarship.” Click on the “Future BSOS Alumni Scholarship” link on the right for more information and to apply. Your contributions are needed to build this fund, which provided scholarships to upper-level students in need. Your support will enable students in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences to complete their studies at the University of Maryland . Your gift is an investment in the dreams and the futures of our students. Please help us support our scholarship and mentoring programs. Your support makes dreams come true!
