Sue Briggs, Director, CIVICUS

Sue Briggs joined the College in January 1999 as the first director of the CIVICUS Living and Learning program. She is responsible for the administration, curriculum, co-curricular, and service learning components of this citation program, and also teaches several of the required courses. Prior to joining the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, Sue served as the assistant dean and associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Baltimore and associate Dean at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

She holds a B.A. in American Studies from Washington College, an M.A. in student personnel and counseling from Virginia Tech, and an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore. She earned her Ph.D. in higher education policy, planning, and administration at the University of Maryland.
