Professor Ginger Zhe Jin received her Ph.D. from the University of
California Los Angeles in 2000. Her primary fields of interest are
industrial organization, health economics, and the economics of family. Most
of her research uses empirical data to investigate how market mechanisms
alleviate information asymmetry among economic agents and what role
government regulations play in the market of information. She teaches in
industrial organization and applied econometrics.
