Nuno Limão, Associate Professor, received his B.Sc. from the London School of Economics and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. He joined the Maryland faculty in 2001. His primary research and teaching interests are in international trade, trade policy and political economy. His research integrates theoretical and empirical work to examine a variety of issues, such as how governments choose among redistribution policies, the determinants of trade policy and trade agreements, the interaction between preferential and multilateral trade liberalization and the effects of trade costs and geographic location.
