Many policy schools allow students to develop areas of specialized expertise (typically in the second year, after a year of general course work on policy analytic methods, quantitative techniques, writing, and other policy-relevant skills). Programs that do not have a specific "environmental track" may nevertheless have useful courses, and most will allow students to take courses offered by other campus departments and programs.
