03/27/07 - ENSP P&P Registration: Fall 07

TO: ENSP Politics and Policy students
FROM: Rodrigo Pinto

Registration season for Fall 2007 is here: The first wave officially begins this March 29th and will go until May 9th. Given our interdisciplinary curriculum, those of you in the first year of the concentration and graduating in the upcoming semester (end of Fall 07) are required to come in for an advising appointment with me. Others in different phases of the program can fulfill mandatory advising by submitting a choice of courses to me by e-mail. If you see a note that says Mandatory Dept. and College on your registration status, you have the 80-89 credit college audit block, the removal of which will also require an appointment with BSOS after our departmental meeting.

Prior to our contact, please carefully consider the ENSP P&P "Course Offerings Fall 2007" posted at http://www.bsos.umd.edu/ensp_pol/fall07offerings.html as well as the tips on preparing for advising at http://www.bsos.umd.edu/ensp_pol/Procedures.html#Preparing

To set up your appointment, please e-mail me with your available days or blocks of time as well as your registration date and time. An appointment is helpful even within my regular office hours during "registration crunch time." I will respond ASAP to confirm a time that works for both of us. If you have already been in touch, I have noticed that we will have no problem meeting before each of your appointments, and you will be getting an e-mail confirmation from me soon (tonight-tomorrow).
