As president of the Behavioral and Social Sciences Alumni Chapter, I know about the impressive accomplishments of our more than 50,000 alumni. Our alumni are living around the world and many of their achievements and activities have considerable impact both nationally and globally. Graduates of the college, the largest on the College Park campus, have expertise on issues dominating today's headlines, like global warming and climate change, politics and the recent Presidential election, homeland security, Middle Eastern affairs and the subprime mortgage problem—just to name a few.
