How many office hours should be offered per week?

Professors and instructors in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences are required to hold regularly scheduled office hours. During this time, faculty members are expected to be available to assist and counsel students. College of Behavioral and Social Sciences instructors who teach three classes, typically offer four to five office hours per week. These hours should be offered at different times on different days. A schedule of teaching hours and office hours should be included on the course syllabus and posted by each faculty member's office.
