Each December, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences holds a college-wide commencement ceremony honoring graduates; each May, the college holds individual departmental ceremonies honoring graduates from their respective departments. The university holds a general commencement ceremony in December and May as well. Faculty members are encouraged to attend both. Undergraduate and graduate students are always appreciative of faculty members who attend and/or participate in these commencement ceremonies.
Each College of Behavioral and Social Sciences department is asked to provide a certain number of faculty marshals at the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and university commencements. If you are interested in serving as a department marshal, please contact your department chairperson or director of undergraduate programs.
