- Legal issues involving the assessment of student performance, including performance in clinical settings;
- Evolving legal issues pertaining to the Internet and electronic communications;
- Defining and responding to classroom disruption;
- Legal issues involving students with disabilities, including learning disabilities;
- Law and policy issues regarding academic integrity standards;
- The First Amendment and religious freedom on campus, including discussion of issues related to "cult" activity.
