Before completing the TAR –
*If this is international travel on a federally sponsored award, please see new foreign travel procedures.
*If the traveler is not a US Citizen, please see foreign visitor screening
procedures.
**If the travel destination is to the UMCP campus and a valid social security
number is not provided on the request form, the Smart Center will email
the form contact for US citizenship verification before processing the
travel approval request (TAR).
Travel Services has provided a few Maryland hotel and transportation vendors if you need suggestions for you visitors.
