Terms:
Each department representative is to serve a minimum of a one year term and can serve a maximum of two years with the approval of the council. The living learning programs and peer advisors shall appoint a representative for a one year term, unless the council supports additional terms in the absence of an appropriate replacement.
To be eligible to act as a representative, the following criteria must be met:
- The student must have and maintain above a 2.7 cumulative GPA;
- The student must have been a declared Behavioral & Social Sciences major for at least one (1) semester; preference will be given to students going into their second or third year;
- The student may not have any judicial infractions against them;
- The student must be willing to meet twice a month on Tuesday evenings;
- The student must be willing to serve on a minimum of one college-wide committee (e.g., Teaching Committee, Scholarship Committee, December Graduation Speaker Committee, etc.).
