We are pleased to announce that American Politics Research is now accepting online submissions through SAGETRACK, an on-line manuscript submission system powered by Manuscript Central.

To create an account, reviewers and authors can go to http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/apr.

Beginning January 1, 2008, all papers submitted to APR are to be submitted online through Manuscript Central. (Please note that Manuscript Central cannot accept PDF documents).

Papers submitted under the previous system prior to December 31, 2007 will be processed using that system.

As always, articles should be approximately 25 typewritten, double-spaced pages, with footnotes, references, tables, and charts on separate pages. Research notes should be approximately 10 pages in length. Except in unusual circumstances, manuscripts over 45 pages will not be reviewed. Authors should closely follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th Edition).

Submission of a manuscript implies commitment to publish in the journal. Authors submitting manuscripts to the journal should not simultaneously submit them to another journal, nor should manuscripts have been published elsewhere in substantially similar form or with substantially similar content. Authors in doubt about what constitutes prior publication should consult the editor.
