“Hopper” -1970 Choreography: Eleo
Pomare Inspired by the
paintings of Edward Hopper. Sections of the dance are titled after the
respective paintings: a) Room in Brooklyn, b) Detail from Nighthawks,
and c) Morning in the City. The piece was originally choreographed in
1970 but reset on Ms. Yatkin and premiered in St. Petersburg, Russia
last year.
