Ian Ward

 
 

Ian joined the Department of Government and Politics in Fall 2008.  A political philosopher by training, his interests include the history of late-modern political thought, critical social theory, democratic theory, the philosophy of religion and the philosophy of language.  He is currently preparing a book manuscript, Democracy After Secularism, based upon his doctoral research.  He has published in Polity and contributed reviews to The Journal of Religion, The Journal of Church and State, and Ethics and International Affairs.
