Note: I recommend you send a cover letter/ expression of interest in the job to the department separately from the packet and ahead of it, to open the file at their end and personalize this. The letter of interest should be tailored to the job description. It should summarize your dissertation research and what it contributes to the field, and also summarizes your teaching experience.

1. C.V.–please give me a draft c.v. as soon as possible and I will go over it for content, style, format
2. Transcript
3. Letters of recommendation from at least three scholars
4. Statement of research interests (2 pages)
5. Publications
6. Two chapters from the dissertation (theory and evidence)
7. Statement of teaching interests (2 pages)
8. Syllabi of any courses you have taught yourself (not TA)
9. Course evaluations from any courses you have taught or TA’d
