In today's society, the Internet and other electronic resources play a huge role in our daily lives. Not only are more people purchasing computers everyday, but more and more of the population is becoming computer literate. This has led to the exploration of all possibilities of computer and Internet use. This coupled with the problems that developed as a result of the system used in the 2000 presidential election has helped urge the belief that the Internet could be used to facilitate elections, making the process much easier.
This web-site displays the results of our research on the topic of Internet voting. We have included the background information we have gathered and the methods of Internet voting that have been developed. We have also laid out the pros and cons of this type of election and why we feel that it is a great idea and a good concept, but why it may not be feasible at this time.
