Awarded to four students each year for participation in a Washington, D.C. Internship in political science. To receive this award of $2000, click here now! |

Each year, Pi Sigma Alpha chooses three undergraduate student papers as exemplary. The first place winner receives $250, with each runner up receiving $100. The author must be a member of PSA currently enrolled in an undergraduate political science program. The paper must be an existing paper written for a class or for a related activity such as a panel or forum, not written just for this competition. Application is a two state process, first for chapter nomination and then for the award itself. Each chapter is allowed to nominate one member. Application requirements will be posted when the 2006 competition is officially announced. The application deadline is usually May 1 for chapter nomination and June 1 for the award itself. Scholarships |

Pi Sigma Alpha offers five scholarships of $1500 each to PSA members entering M.A. or Ph.D. programs in political science. The scholarships are awarded by a national selection committee solely on the basis of academic merit and service to Pi Sigma Alpha, the university, and the community. Application is a two stage process, first for chapter nomination and then for the award itself. Each chapter is allowed to nominate one member. Application requirements will be posted when the 2006 competition is officially announced. The application deadline is usually March 15 for the chapter nomination and April 15 for the award itself.
