Master's Degree Thesis

Thesis:

Students who elect the thesis option must register for six semester hours of HESP799, M.A. Thesis Research. It is up to the student to decide how those credit hours are spread across the time period. The student is not required to take comprehensive examinations but is required to defend his/her thesis in an oral examination.

  3. The Department has produced a Writing Manual to assist in preparation of candidacy papers, theses and term papers. Students are strongly encouraged to consult it. Copies are also available in the HESP Main Office.
  4. Other links to information on writing style, research design, avoiding plagiarism and IRB links can be found on the HESP Research/Writing webpage. Students are also strongly encouraged to consult this page and visit these links prior to writing the paper.
