Research/Clinical Activities

Current research includes a study on diagnosis and treatment efficacy for nonspecific chronic cough in pediatrics as well as one on vocal cord dysfunction (paradoxical vocal fold motion) in athletes (for more information, click here).

I teach the graduate level voice disorders course and co-teach the Head and Neck 5 week elective course at Loyola College in MD. I supervise several graduate students each semester working with clients who have voice and /or laryngeal disorders within the college clinic. Prior to starting the Ph.D. program, I was a student in the Pastoral Counseling program at Loyola College, where I completed five psychology/counseling graduate level courses.
