1. Cognitive-linguistic processing in speech/language production in people who do and do not stutter, advised by Nan Bernstein Ratner, University of Maryland.

2. A Magnetoencepholography study of word processing, with Lesley Sand and Donald J. Bolger, Laboratory of Neurodevelopment of Reading and Language, University of Maryland.

3. Neural activations of narrative production, with Language Section, National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, National Institute of Health.

4. Investigation of neural activity and language production in people who stutter, with Allen Braun, National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, National Institute of Health, and Nan Bernstein Ratner, University of Maryland.
