Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology were listed in the top 25 jobs in US News and World Report's "Best Careers 2007 ". Speech-Language Pathology was recently cited in the list of the top 50 " Best Jobs in America " by Money Magazine based on their growth, pay, stress-levels and other factors. The excellent job prospects for speech-language pathologists were recently discussed in, "Where the Jobs Are: Speech Pathologist," on Forbes.com.

For those considering a PhD, note that College Professor was included on both lists: Professor was projected to be the second "best job" by Money Magazine and was on the "best careers" list in US News and World Report.

The University of Maryland has it all: A Carnegie Research-I campus located in the Washington, DC suburbs. We are close to all the Capital Region attractions, only a Metrorail ride away, as well as Baltimore, Annapolis and the beaches.
