Individuals with Aphasia

Participation in our studies typically involves initial testing to assess different aspects of language, such as naming, comprehension, production of sentences, and reading. The initial tests will determine each individual's eligibility for further research, including treatment efficacy studies. The studies will take place in the Aphasia Research Center in University of Maryland ( College Park campus). The treatment studies involve intense individual or group treatment 3-5 times per week for 2-4 weeks. Individuals who agree to participate are scheduled during times that are convenient for them.
