Courses Taught
HESP 311: Anatomy, Pathology, and Physiology of the Auditory System
Research/Clinical Activities
My primary research interests include the genetic aspects of normal and aberrant auditory function; specifically, the heritable processes and manifestations of hearing loss and vestibular dysfunction, with an emphasis on phenotype/genotype correlations in both normal and abnormal systems. Other areas of research include the effects of environmental toxins (e.g., noise, pharmaceuticals) and infectious processes on the auditory system.
