Studies on Hearing
Auditory Temporal Processes, Speech Perception and Aging: recruiting adults between the ages of 18-45 with normal hearing and the ages of 65 and older with normal hearing and with hearing loss.
Primary Investigator: Sandra Gordon-Salant, Ph.D.
Participants needed for NIH-funded hearing experiments at the University of Maryland. Seeking people ages 65-80 with normal hearing or hearing loss. Hearing evaluation included as part of the study. Participation time: ~12 hrs; $12.00/hr. Call Chris or Erin (301-405-7454).
Auditory measures in clinically depressed females taking sertraline (Zoloft): recruiting females with normal hearing age 18-35 who fall into one of the following categories:
- Clinically depressed and not taking antidepressants
- Clinically depressed and are taking sertraline (Zoloft®)
- Not clinically depressed
