Get Involved: JobsWork StudyThe Program On Global Security and Disarmament (PGSD) is based in the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland. PGSD is an integrated program of research, analysis, international networking, training and public education. The program focuses on increasing the understanding of security and disarmament issues, both for the academic community and for the general public. The Program welcomes applications for Work-Study students each semester. The candidate should have an interest in the field and a willingness to become familiar with the arms control and security community in Washington, DC, and abroad.
Your duties would include: Previous office work experience is preferred. Familiarity with WordPerfect and Netscape Navigator/Internet Explorer is recommended. PGSD is interested in supporting students' development by offering the opportunity to assist with staff research projects. Thus, strong research, analytical, writing, communication and organizational skills are necessary. Please submit by mail the following application materials:
