Research
I am interested in application of signal processing and data analysis in applications involving animal studies with bats and birds. In supporting the work of both the Bat Laboratory and the Laboratory for Comparative Psychoacoustics, I coordinate the hardware and software development for a range of test facilities.
My previous work included the design and evaluation of anechoic materials, design of transducers, and experimental evaluation of damping techniques, and U.S. Navy shipboard procedures and operations (including 5 years on active duty).
