Our commitment to the scientist-practitioner model can also be seen in the types of jobs that our graduates take. Graduates of the program go to a variety of settings, with about one-third going to academic jobs, one -third to research jobs (in the federal government or private organizations), and one-third taking jobs as full-time I/O practitioners or consultants.

Recent graduates have taken positions at Cornell University, San Diego State University, Mercer Human Resources Consulting, Personnel Decisions International (PDI), Personnel Decisions Research Institutes (PDRI), GEICO, The Hay Group, Rice University, Entergy, Williams-Sonoma, Baruch College, Towers Perrin, and Wayne State University. See below for a full listing of our alumnae.

A number of our advanced students take internships in government and industry settings. Our proximity to D.C. facilitates these internships.
