Research and Teaching Interests:

William Hodos (Distinguished University Professor Emeritus) received his Ph.D. in 1960 from the University of Pennsylvania. From 1959 to 1970 he conducted research at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Washington, D.C. His current research interests are in the evolution of the nervous system and behavior, comparative psychology, neural basis of sensory processes, animal psychophysics, and physiological optics.
