Opportunities for Psychology Majors

In addition to the regular curriculum in Psychology, there are several ways to broaden your experience in the field.

These include the opportunity to do research in one of the research labs in the department, or to do an internship in the community or industry.

You can also expand the rigor of your education by pursuing Psychology Honors or deepen the scientific basis for your degree by pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree rather than the standard Bachelor of Arts degree. You could also pursue a Minor in Neurosciences.

To meet other very dedicated people who have chosen to study Psychology, you could join Psi Chi if you meet the entrance requirements.

Other options are listed in the frequent posts to the Psychology Majors E-News group. In case you've missed or deleted a message (or have not declared Psychology as a major formally yet), an archive of this E-News List is available.
