Support for Postdoctoral Trainees   Postdoctoral trainees will generally receive support for only one year. It will benefit trainees to have 3-4 years of postdoctoral training. All new trainees will apply for individual NRSA support from NIH or other agencies. Further funding will be obtained through advanced postdoctoral or RO3 funds. Alternatively, we may offer one year of support to potential trainees, with a guarantee of a second year on the research grant of the potential mentor. Only in rare instances will our program fund postdoctoral trainees for a second year.
