Annual Neuroethology Symposium

Annual Neuroethology Symposium is held on campus at the end of each academic year. We plan a weekend research symposium for all campus pre and postdoctoral trainees and faculty interested in neuroethology. The purpose of the meeting will be to enable trainees and faculty to present short papers on their research. The emphasis will be on comparative and evolutionary issues. We invite interested neuroethologists from throughout the Washington metropolitan area to join us and present appropriate papers. This meeting not only enables all training program members to learn about work in other labs in a formal setting, but trainees will get an opportunity to practice presenting material before a critical, but friendly, audience. They also have the opportunity to interact with researchers from other institutions.
