Course:     PSYCHOLOGY 888 - Research Methods in Psychology (2 credits)

     Description: Students will be mentored in providing consultation to faculty and graduate students in the design and analysis of planned and ongoing research projects. Course readings will be chosen for relevance to the consulting questions and issues. This course provides an excellent opportunity for students to be exposed to wide range of problems and issues in measurement and psychometrics, methodology, and statistical methods in all areas of psychology. Consultation will be solution-focused.

     Prerequisites: It is assumed that students registering for the course have had at least one other graduate statistics course, and are familiar with the basic principles of least squares parameter estimation, tests of significance, multiple regression, and the analysis of variance. Permission of the instructor.
