13: Self-perception theory states that we

A: work to see ourselves in the most positive light.

    Incorrect
Self perception theory states that because we have no special access to our attitudes, so we infer them from our behavior.  There is no mention in self-perception of motivation to see ourselves in the most positive light. Seeing one's self in a positive light is related to the motivational explanation for the actor observer bias and to self-serving biases discussed elsewhere in the course.
