IHDS Program Coordinator University of Maryland – College Park. The Maryland Population Research Center and the Department of Sociology invite applications for a Faculty Research Assistant/Associate position to serve as Program Coordinator of the India Human Development Survey (http://ihds.umd.edu). The position will combine research and administrative responsibilities. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the next round of the survey including interfacing with U.S.- and India-based institutions, managing data, supervising research assistants, and cooperating in the design and analysis of survey results. Fluent Hindi required. Master's Degree in sociology or related field required, Ph.D. preferred. This is a non-tenure track faculty contract, 12-month appointment, renewable annually.
