Course Listserv
I have set up a listserv for this class. Any electronic mail sent to this list will "automagically" distributed to everyone subscribed to the list. I will use this list to send out messages to the entire class including information about class handouts, corrections to the homework assignments, and other potentially important news. You can use the listserv to ask questions of the all the listserv subscribers (e.g. your classmates!).To subscribe to the listserv: send an electronic mail message from the mail account where you will receive listserv information (i.e., I subscribed from my email account, aneustadtl@socy.umd.edu) to join-socstat@bsoslist.umd.edu that contains the following single message line" subscribe socstat.
To post to the list, send electronic mail to socstat@bsoslist.umd.edu. To unsubscribe from the list (e.g. you decide to drop the course), send an electronic mail message to join-socstat@bsoslist.umd.edu with the single message line: unsubscribe socstat.
Alternatively, you can subscribe and unsubscribe from the following web page: www.bsoslist.umd.edu. Select SOCY.
