The 13th annual Group Processes Conference was held on Friday, August 11, 2000, in Washington, D. C., the day before the annual meetings of the American Sociological Association. The conference was held in the ASA convention hotel, the Washington Hilton, from 8:30 am to 5:30pm. Conference organizers were Murray Webster and Barbara Meeker.
