A. Objectives

The IFRTD Latin America subscribes to IFRTD's long-term vision of a world in which rural communities, particularly those who are poor and disadvantaged, have improved accessibility and mobility resulting from the development of rural transport systems that respond to their needs and potential. It also subscribes to the forum's mission to address this problem and to facilitate and promote the successful application of policies and practices that will satisfy the accessibility and mobility needs of women, men and children in rural areas.
