The Association for Progressive Communications (APC) is a global network of civil society organizations dedicated to empowering and supporting groups and individuals working for peace, human rights, development and protection of the environment, through the strategic use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), including the Internet.

Countries in which network participates actively Our network of members and partners spans the globe, with presence in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and North America.  Specifically countries with members in May 2001 are: Argentina, Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Germany,  Hungary, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Romania, Senegal, South Africa, Spain,  Ukraine, UK, USA, and Uruguay.
