8th Annual Parren J. Mitchell Symposium: Controlling the Narrative
Please join the Critical Race Initiative and its sponsors—including BSOS, the Department of Sociology, the Anti-Black Racism Initiative and the Baha'i Chair for World Peace—for the 8th Annual Parren J. Mitchell Symposium.
Panels and poster presentations will explore the theme of "Controlling the Narrative: Counter-Storytelling and Community-Engaged Research for Families of Color."
The symposium will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the Prince George's Room of the Stamp Student Union (room 1211). A reception will take place from 3 p.m.-4 p.m. in the Stamp Grand Ballroom Lounge.
